The sculpture is made up of 4 layers that are glued together after the internal shape was ready. In this way, the hole can be tapered in shape. I have never been so mistaken about the amount of work this entails.

The title originated when the sculpture was ready. I imagine how one day, somewhere during excavations, a monumental building emerges, as a witness to an ancient civilization. A monument from the past.
