2017, Belgian bluestone, 2 times 30*30*18cm

The stone with the somewhat chaotic surface shows LGM-1: a signal from space, 12 lightyears away. As the discoverers did not know what it was, they concluded it was a signal from Little Green Men, LGM-1. This title is still being used for this discovery. The signal was recorded exactly 50 years before immortalizing it in stone, and led to the Nobelprice in 1974.

It is time for our answer to the LGM: Newton’s Trident, shown in the more smooth surface. When they understand this shape and send a second message, LGM-2, we can start to talk.
